After School Activities

After School Activities provide an opportunity for students to develop skills, build connections, and explore new interests. These sessions also allow for meaningful interactions across age levels, fostering a greater sense of community and practicing their success orientations. These activities are designed to give students an informal atmosphere to relax, develop new skills, and find new areas of interest.

Elementary students have afterschool activities from 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday. Middle School and Secondary students have afterschool activities from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. from Monday to Thursday.

We offer 4 different activity sessions for elementary and secondary students, each varying in length. Our school's activities fee covers afterschool activities, helps pay for materials, and hires professional instructors fit to work with our students.

We do our best to provide various activities to meet our students' needs. Here is the list of activities our school has been offering so far: Baking Club, Cool Wool, Ukulele Club, Recorder Club, Strategic Games, Soccer, Upcycling Art, Painting/Drawing, Badminton, Music & Rhythm, Outdoor games, Drama, Art Club, Table Tennis, Yoga, Creative Drawing, DIY Toys, Knitting, Craft/Sewing Club, Lego Robotics, Embroidery, Basketball, Knowledge Bowl, French, Spanish Fun, Origami Club, Volleyball, Taekwondo, Chess, Dancing, Science Club, Health and Fitness, and Band. These activities are each designed for a specific age group.

Sign-ups are done both electronically and on paper. If you would like to volunteer for an activity or know a professional who would suit your child's needs, please let us know at bermet-kanybekova@bishkek.qsi.org.

We are committed to your child's success and well-being!
