After School Activities
After school activities provide a special opportunity for students to learn new skills, meet new friends, and practice their success orientations. These activities are designed to give students an informal atmosphere to relax, have fun, and find new areas of interest.
Elementary students have after school activities from 2:45 to 3:30 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Secondary students have after school activities from 3:35 to 4:15 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Activities for elementary and secondary students change every six or seven weeks. There are usually no fees charged if one of our staff members runs the activity, unless there are supplies that need to be purchased. However, we need to hire professional instructors for some activities that include a fee to cover the payment for the instructor.
We do our best to provide a variety of activities to meet the needs of our students. Here is the list of activities our school has been offering so far: Baking Club, Ukulele Club, Makerspace, Golf, Horseback Riding, Strategic Games, Soccer, Painting/Drawing, Badminton, Komuz, Outdoor games, Drama, Art Club, Table Tennis, Movie Maker Club, Bowling, Yoga, Creative Drawing, Toy making club, Knitting, Craft/Sewing Club, Girls singing Club, Lego Robotics, Embroidery, Basketball, Math, Wushu, Origami Club, Volleyball, Chess Club, Cooking Club, Dancing, Rock Climbing, Science Club, Health and fitness, and Band. These activities are each designed for a specific age group.
Please encourage your child to select an activity of their choice and participate. The success of the program depends on participation of the student. The current session will end on February 26th. Some great after school activities are under way for the third session. If you would like to volunteer an activity or know a professional who would suit the needs of your child, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are committed to your child’s success and well-being!
