QSI has been a great choice for our young kids. The small class sizes allow you to get to know the teachers well. The school uses an online system to send pictures and updates to parents frequently. The community is really welcoming and there is a positive, kind school culture.

Extracurriculars and non-academic classes can be a little hit-or-miss, but definitely fine for younger kids.

We entered the QSIB family when our children were halfway through their 7th and 8th grade school years. We joined from what was considered a top school district in Virginia (USA). We originally leaned towards QSIB (over other options in Bishkek) due to its AP course offerings, but we were really won over by their Mastery Learning Program. 

The educational skills that our children were taught under QSIB’s  Mastery Learning Program have been ingrained. We are now back in the USA (in Florida) and our children are star performers in each of their classes!  The teachers are all impressed with their organization, level of effort, and pride they put into each assignment. We credit QSIB with teaching our children skills necessary for their success. We would recommend QSIB to anyone!

Academics QSI International School of Bishkek follows the Mastery Learning model of education. Students learn at a pace which allows them to develop a high level of proficiency (knowledge, skills, and competencies) in the curriculum that they are studying. This approach promotes academic rigor and academic success.

Faculty and Staff Mastery Learning at QSI International School of Bishkek is facilitated by a group of passionate and dedicated educators. Faculty members are certified and licensed in the core subjects that they teach, and many teachers are in progress to obtain or have advanced degrees in education.

Facilities Our main building was recently renovated and modernized. We plan on building additional classrooms and instructional areas in the near future. The school has a gym, soccer pitch, and outside play areas. All classrooms are equipped with HEPA air purifiers to minimize air pollution.

Health and Safety The health and safety of our campus community is our main priority. QSIB has a 24-hour security presence and is closed to public access. Our school nurse and the school follow effective COVID-19 protocols and guidelines.

Student Services QSI International School of Bishkek offers a variety of personalized services in order to enhance student growth and development including counseling, learning support, and intensive English classes. The cafeteria offers a variety of lunch choices as well as snack options.

Student Life Extracurricular and enrichment programs are an integral part of the student life experience at QSI International School of Bishkek. The focus of the program is to provide opportunities for student engagement; nurture leadership skills, increase teamwork and promote positive group dynamics. We teach character development with our Sucсess Orientation program in all grades. Secondary students have opportunities to join STUCO, Model United Nations, National Honors Society, Rock Band, Week Without Walls and athletic teams.

Community QSI International School of Bishkek is proud to celebrate the diversity of our campus community.  With the support of our Parent Support Group (PSG) the school hosts events throughout the year including the Back-to-School Picnic, International Day, Fall Festival, Winter Celebration, Movie Night and Ski Day.
